search.srst.one (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy.

Data Collection

SearXNG is a metasearch engine that aggregates results from multiple search engines. By design:

• We do not log search queries. SearXNG has been configured with metrics and logging disabled.
• We do not store IP addresses. Rate limiting is performed using in-memory counters and does not retain historical search data.
• We do not use cookies for tracking or analytics purposes.
• We do not sell, share, or transmit your search queries to third parties beyond the search engines you select.

How It Works

When you submit a search query:

1. Your browser sends the query over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
2. SearXNG forwards your query to the selected search engines using our server’s IP address — your IP address is never forwarded.
3. Results are returned to you, and no record of the query is retained.

Third-Party Search Engines

The search engines we aggregate have their own privacy policies. SearXNG strips identifying information before forwarding requests, but we cannot control what those engines log.
